I mentioned that this was in the Times Educational Supplement and if you google "Leslie Barson" and Times Educational Supplement, then it it is the first thing to come up. I rather assumed that those with any interest would have done this for themselves. As you will see, although the article is about home education, the headline focuses on children working. I don't think that Leslie Barson can have been firing on all cylinders that day.

' allowing them to choose when to work yet because (in your opinion) it will lead to a slave labour world '

Good point, about which I shall be posting today.Simon Webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10865289865412656573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881402584568285627.post-46839639631850923842013-11-07T17:18:20.637-08:002013-11-07T17:18:20.637-08:00A bit naughty to pretend she let it slip out, like...A bit naughty to pretend she let it slip out, like she was caught napping. It was a full blown interview. There's no conflict between someone who believes in Children's autonomy and allowing them to choose when to work yet because (in your opinion) it will lead to a slave labour world then that is what she believes in. Provide a link to the article, let people read it themselves and form their own view. I was directed to this blog because I was lead to believe it had forthright and insightful opinions. This group values employment as an end result of their child's education, which explains the massive interest there is among them in qualifications.

This new dynamic is at the heart of friction in many a local list.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
