A very interesting account of home education;

A lot of this sounds pretty similar to accounts by God-fearing, Christian parents in the USA. The fact that the family have no television or games console in the home may be among the most important factors for success!

Rather, wards such as Anas Bin Malik and even his own wife A’ishah, (may Allah be pleased with them) were placed in his company as minors/children, because of which they acquired knowledge and grew immensely in their own skin."

    It is interesting because A’ishah was only nine when her marriage was consumated, so I expect she was well used to adult company:

  2. I don't really see any similarities between this mother's reasons to HE and "American God fearing Christians'".

    She seems to be motivated by instinct rather than any set philosophy.

    Very much like Jesus, saying 'Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not'.
