Like father, like daughter...

It struck me that those who enjoy reading my own pieces might well find it a pleasure to have some more of the family's writing to look at. Here are a couple of short articles by my daughter, whose ability to irritate people seems to be second only to my own:

  2. Was GCday's comment prophetic, or did Simone make her decision about PPE at Oxford before this comment?

"Honestly, I'm more offended/concerned about teenage professional politicians like Simone Webb, where do these people come from?

I can't trust someone who wants to spends their teenage years voting on amendments on some tinpot committee, I take it as a sign of someone who should never be allowed near any real political power.

Simone, if you are around - It says you finishing your A-levels - let me take a stab in the dark - you are applying for PPE at Oxford right?

  7. "I am constantly told how disconnected my generation is with the political system and how we need to get more involved."

She writes as badly as you do Simon. You cannot be disconnected WITH something ... only from.

One thing we don't need is more second rate journos ... a dull read at best.

No, I don't know her, but I can't wait for you to meet Mr Abusive Amateur Psychologist who also comments here! As soon as he finishes his marking, I am sure he'll be along to make a diagnosis.

Hahaha, how do you figure that? Just because I found the article amateurishness (Simone is after all), badly constructed, and not a terribly electrifying read, that means I have a chip on my shoulder?

Your powers of deduction astound me! Truly!

  12. anon says-No, I don't know her,

Why dont you answer the question? do you agree with left winger PC correct Simone? who also fully supported Ed Balls and Graham Badman?

There is something deliciously surreal about somebody criticising grammatical constructions and then producing the kind of semi-literate nonsense quoted above!

    Simon.

  14. worn out Webb says-then producing the kind of semi-literate nonsense quoted above!

are you saying that Simone is not a PC correct lefty paid up member of the Labour party who fully supported crazy old Graham Badman and refuses to accept the Ed balls sold off the nation gold for to little?

I don't know her, what she believes or what she stands for. So, how can I agree with her or be a supporter of her?

Do you agree with Albert Biscuit? Come on. Answer the question! If you don't answer, I'll know you secretly support him.

i try and enlighten you then!

We know that Simone is a fully paid up member of the Labour party worked for Ed Balls who got Crazy Badman to do that report on home education Balls agreed with Badman ideas and hinted at abuse risks. We know that Simone met Badman and as far as we know agreed with most of his report including the forced entry into a family home to check for abuse by an LA.We know that Simone is a lefty with PC correct thinking i belive Webb has hinted at this about his daughter.
come on here Simone and tell us you do not belive in Graham Badman report and you do not agree with Ed Balls?

I am not pretending to be a journo.

  18. 'I am not pretending to be a journo.'

This is gnomic indeed; the implication being, I suppose, that some other person is pretending to be a journo. Are we to be told who this is?

    Simon.
